Wheat Fields Near Auvers is a pretty zig-zag patchwork pattern of colour, in which Van Gogh manages to perfectly capture the beautiful countryside near Auvers-Sur-Oise, the French town where he would spend his final days. A much happier painting than some of the artists other paintings whist at Auvers, Wheat Fields Near Auvers is a complete contrast to his final Wheatfields with crows. Lush greens, yelows, and blues are accented with browns in this picturesque skein of yarn.
This Peruvian yarn is a 4 ply made from 75% Superwash Merino wool and 25% nylon, which is soft to touch and won't be itchy next to the skin, whilst having elasticity. The fibers have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore it will not ‘felt’ when washed, it is a great easy-care yarn - but please be gentle with your hand knits!
