Anna Atkins was an English botanist and photographer, she is considered to be the first person to publish a book containing photographs. Atkins was a pioneer of early photography and prefered the cyanotype photographic process, placing ferns directly onto the blue cyanotype paper to contact print them, leaving a ghostly white impression on the cyan blue paper.
This Peruvian yarn is a 4 ply made from 50% Alpaca wool and 50% Merino, which is soft to touch and won't be itchy next to the skin. It is incredibly warm, lightweight and strong. It contains no lanolin, so is great if you have allergies. This yarn is hand wash only.
