Abstract expressionist Sam Francis was influenced by Rothko and Pollock but developed his style with a second wave of artists including Joan Mitchell, using colour to express his work, this colourway is based on his untitled 1958 painting, made at a time when Francis was residing in Paris.
This is a very durable yarn due to the addition of the 25% Nylon but keeps it's soft touch and natural elasticity as it contains 75% Merino. This is a strong and hard-wearing yarn and is perfect for cozy bed socks and super warm walking or ski socks. It is a standard DK yarn perfect for any DK project including sweaters, scarves and hats.
