Renoir was one of the leading artists in the impressionist movement, most famously painting scenes of Parisians enjoying their leisure time, Renoir used loose brushstrokes to capture the light and movement in the trees and water. I have created a range based on Renoir's paintings of flowers, Vase of Flowers is a speckled colourway based on Renoir's beautiful painting of a vase of flowers. The neutral base with pops of colour makes a fun addition to any stash and would look great paired with one of my brighter skeins from the store.
This is made from fully traceable organically grown fleece, the finest produced from the Falkland Islands, South Atlantic. A standard 4 ply made from 100% Superwash Merino wool which is soft to touch and won't be itchy next to the skin. The fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore it will not ‘felt’ when washed, it is a great easy-care yarn - but please be gentle with your hand knits!
