Renoir was one of the leading artists in the impressionist movement, most famously painting scenes of Parisians enjoying their leisure time, Renoir used loose brushstrokes to capture the light and movement in the trees and water. I have created a range based on Renoir's paintings of flowers, this is Still Life of Roses, gorgeous pinks and blues are speckled throughout this colourway to replicate the frenetic impressionist brush strokes of the painting.
This is made from fully traceable organically grown fleece, the finest produced from the Falkland Islands, South Atlantic. A standard 4 ply made from 100% Superwash Merino wool which is soft to touch and won't be itchy next to the skin. The fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore it will not ‘felt’ when washed, it is a great easy-care yarn - but please be gentle with your hand knits!
