Picasso's monochrome Guernica is widely considered one of the most famous paintings in the world, an anti-war piece painting by the Spanish cubist in 1937. The midnight black is striking in this colourway, blending with greys and whites to create a beautifully textured yarn.
Slub is a textured 4 ply yarn made from 90% Superwash Merino wool, which is soft to touch and won't be itchy next to the skin, and 10% Nylon which, when plyed with the merino, creates the crinkled effect on the yarn. There are little beehives throughout this yarn to create even more nobbles and texture. The fibers have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore it will not ‘felt’ when washed, it is a great easy-care yarn - but please be gentle with your hand knits!
