This yarn is from my series based around the paintings of Monet. This particular yarn is inspired by one of his Water Lily paintings, Water Lilies and Japanese Bridge, which were in the gardens at his home in Giverny. A full spectrum of green tones from a natural earthy-green through to a watery, turquoise shade and speckled with a pop of lily flower pink speckled throughout.
Egyptian 4 ply is a luxurious base that takes the colour beautifully because of its alpaca and silk content. The fine alpaca makes this yarn super soft and fluffy, the silk makes it luxurious and adds a shine, and lastly, the linen gives the yarn a nice rustic feel.
