As it’s on silk, the blues, greens and pinks shimmer their way through this pretty colourway. Water Lilies 1916-1919 is one of my classics which I’ve tweaked just a little bit and dyed up on a brand new base, I'm already in love!
This luxurious yarn is a perfect blend of superfine merino wool and mulberry silk. Merino wool is soft to touch, whilst the silk adds a shiny smooth luster and feels soft and luxurious to work with. This smooth yarn is perfect for wearing close to your skin so would suit a luxury shawl for those cooler summer evenings. With 425m (465 yds) per 100g there is a little more yarn to go that little bit further, you could make a decent-sized knitted shawl out of one skein. This yarn can be used for many projects including cardigans, tops and other garments.
