LS Lowry grew up in industrial Manchester and this colourway is an atmospheric reflection of the cloud-filled skies he lived under, the cobbled streets he walked upon and the matchstick men he painted. Flecks of red dance amongst the moody greys and mustards that weave their way through this yarn.
This Peruvian yarn is a 4 ply made from 75% Superwash Merino wool and 25% nylon, which is soft to touch and won't be itchy next to the skin, whilst having elasticity. The fibers have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore it will not ‘felt’ when washed, it is a great easy-care yarn - but please be gentle with your hand knits!
