Jackson Pollock was an abstract impressionist, renowned for using a 'drip technique' to create his frenetic works. I use similar drip techniques when dyeing my yarn. This yarn is my take on Pollock's Blue Poles, a fascinating insight into the crazy world of Pollock, Blue Poles is a mish-mash of shades of blues, greys and orange that create this kooky colourway.
This is made from fully traceable organically grown fleece, the finest produced from the Falkland Islands, South Atlantic. A standard 4 ply made from 100% Superwash Merino wool which is soft to touch and won't be itchy next to the skin. The fibers have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore it will not ‘felt’ when washed, it is a great easy-care yarn - but please be gentle with your hand knits!
