The theme for February's Yorkshire Yarn Fest is Spring, so I have created a range of yarn based on some of my favourite floral paintings. This is Georgia O'Keeffe's Light of Iris, the 1924 painting contains delicate shades of yellow and violet which have taken perfectly to the super-soft alpaca merino yarn.
This Peruvian yarn is a 4 ply made from 50% Alpaca wool and 50% Merino, which is soft to touch and won't be itchy next to the skin. It is incredibly warm, lightweight and strong. It contains no lanolin, so is great if you have allergies. This yarn is hand wash only.
