This is A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte by George Seurat. This lovely skein is influenced by this gorgeous green and lilac painting from the French pointillist, the grassy green conjures up feelings of a pleasant stroll in a French jardin.
This is made from fully traceable organically grown fleece, the finest produced from the Falkland Islands, South Atlantic. A standard 4 ply made from 100% Superwash Merino wool which is soft to touch and won't be itchy next to the skin. The fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore it will not ‘felt’ when washed, it is a great easy-care yarn - but please be gentle with your hand knits!
