This is Red Pots in the Garden by David Hockney, a painting of the view from the balcony of Hockney's Holywood Hills home. The contrasting red in the pots and blues in the balcony are striking in this bold and colourful painting which has made a very bold yarn!
This Peruvian yarn is a 4 ply made from 75% Superwash Merino wool and 25% nylon, which is soft to touch and won't be itchy next to the skin, whilst having elasticity. The fibers have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore it will not ‘felt’ when washed, it is a great easy-care yarn - but please be gentle with your hand knits!
