Damien Hirst is perhaps best known for his formaldehyde animals of the 1990s but his work spans a myriad of styles and techniques. I connect most with his paintings, so have created a range of yarn based on his eclectic paintworks. Biphenol is my take on one of Hirt's spot paintings, I've used flashes of green, yellow, pink, orange and blue to represent the vibrant dots from Hirt's stunningly simple painting.
This is made from fully traceable organically grown fleece, the finest produced from the Falkland Islands, South Atlantic. A standard 4 ply made from 100% Superwash Merino wool which is soft to touch and won't be itchy next to the skin. The fibers have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore it will not ‘felt’ when washed, it is a great easy-care yarn - but please be gentle with your hand knits!
