Damien Hirst may be notorious for his animals preserved in formaldehyde, but this yarn is inspired by his spot paintings, so the only hint of an animal you will find in this yarn is merino wool from a sheep! Hirst's spot paintings use a playful pop-art colour pallet on a white canvas, designed to be hypnotic and disorientating, this yarn will make your head spin when it knits up with flecks of colour throughout.
This is made from fully traceable organically grown fleece, the finest produced from the Falkland Islands, South Atlantic.
100% Superwash Merino - A standard 4 ply made from 100% Superwash Merino wool that is soft to touch and won't be itchy next to the skin. The fibers have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore it will not ‘felt’ when washed, it is a great easy-care yarn - but please be gentle with your hand knits!
80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon - This extra robust superwash sock DK is made from 80% Superwash Merino and 20% Nylon, making it extra durable and suitable for a wide range of garments including socks, sweaters and hats; it's very durable whilst remaining super soft to the touch, so ideal to be worn next to your skin.
